The SAS Office of Data Analytics is part of the SAS Information Technology Office. Established in 2022, our mission is to provide the School of Arts and Sciences with accurate data and analysis to support the school’s planning, operations, and decision making. We work closely with SAS senior leadership, departments, and committees to ensure our projects and reporting align with the school-wide strategic plan. We have made it a priority to consider all perspectives with the goal of ensuring student, faculty, and staff success and development.
We have worked with groups such as:
- SAS Strategic Plan Data Collection and Analysis
- Student Success Reporting Committee
- Office of Communications, Events, and Alumni Engagement
Our team builds reports utilizing a combination of SQL and Python scripts with deliverables in either a dashboard or tabular view, using Tableau and Excel respectively. We have also used R to answer questions from a more statistical perspective if necessary. The Office of Data Analytics is committed to developing data and reporting solutions that bridge data gaps while respecting the diverse needs of the SAS community.
