Denise is a Human Resources Specialist for the School of Arts and Sciences, Office of Human Resources, supporting all units/departments in the Division of Humanities, the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Interdisciplinary Programs, and the SAS Dean’s Office. Among her duties are onboarding Class 1, 3, and 4 staff employees and Class 5 student workers. Denise also supports compliance with AFSCME COLT Local 1761, contractual agreements, and policies.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Monmouth University and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP). She is currently pursuing a Master of Human Resource Management at Rutgers University. Her extensive background includes roles such as Leave Administration Functional Specialist and Customer Service Representative at Rutgers' One Source Faculty and Staff Service Center, where she excelled in managing leave processes, providing HR guidance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
